The realtor and reality star on the Netflix series is gearing up for a transformative season, promising to reveal her true self and address the rumors that plagued her in the past.
Emma Hernan teases what fans can expect in upcoming season 9 of “Selling Sunset“. At the launch of her vegan empanada collaboration at Mel’s Drive-In, Hernan expressed her eagerness to share her perspective amid the drama that unfolded in season 8, where she was accused of being involved with a married man.
“I’m really looking forward to getting my truth out and being able for people to get to know me more,” Hernan told PEOPLE. “Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to tell the truth and even address everything.”
She emphasized the support she has received from her co-stars, Chelsea Lazkani and Chrishell Stause, whom she considers her “sisters.” Hernan shared that she is focused on the “positive things” in her life, including her friendship with Lazkani and Stause.
On the other hand, Stause has refuted the rumor brought up by Nicole Young during season 8, which insinuated that Emma Hernan was romantically involved with a married man. On Instagram, Stause shared that a scene where Hernan introduced them to her actual dating partner was not aired. “This was pretty funny bc I didn’t like him. So maybe it’s for the best,” she wrote.
Stause also criticized the production company for not including scenes with singer Tinashe and her partner, G-Flip. She stated that these scenes were cut from the season despite the insights they provided into her relationships.
