Meghan and Harry’s latest series premieres in December
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are notably absent from the trailer for their upcoming Netflix docuseries, POLO, which premieres on December 10.
The five-episode series, executively produced by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpse into the world of polo—a sport deeply connected to Prince Harry.
The 148-second trailer spotlights the lives and relationships of professional polo players, steering the focus away from Harry himself.
Instead, the series is set to highlight the journey of Harry’s close friend and teammate, Nacho Figueras, as earlier reports suggested.
Insiders have voiced concerns over Harry’s limited presence in the series.
“For a show about polo created by Prince Harry, viewers naturally expect him to take center stage,” a source told The Mail.
“Without his prominent involvement, the series risks struggling to capture widespread interest, given polo’s niche appeal.”
One source called it “a big nothing burger,” pointing out that, despite being associated with a sport popular among royalty, the show barely features any royal figures.
Instead, it centers around Harry’s close friend and polo player, Nacho Figueras.
“It’s not the Harry show, it’s the Nacho show,” another insider remarked, reflecting concerns that without the Duke’s prominent role, the series could fail to captivate a broader audience.
However, POLO, which premieres on December 10, may face challenges in living up to the success of its predecessor—especially as the couple looks to make a splash before their Netflix contract concludes.
