Selena Gomez shares how she protects her own mental space and peace

Selena Gomez has recently shared what makes her feel at peace on occasion of World Mental Health Day, which is celebrated on October 10.

In a video posted on Instagram on Thursday, the Only Murders in the Building expressed her gratitude to her young fan and internet sensation Taylen Biggs who introduced the singer as someone who leads “generations with confidence, style and grace and someone who inspires kids” like her.

Selena also announced that 100% of the sales of her makeup brand Rare Beauty at Sephora would benefit her Rare Impact Fund.

The songstress told Taylen, “I am so excited that Sephora well Rare and myself at Sephora are donating 100% sales to my Rare Impact Fund.”

When Taylen asked, “What do you do on those days that you don’t feel like creating and how do you get that inspiration back.”

To which, Selena replied, “I like to take a break… I am not gonna lie there are some days I wake up and I am really tired but I have a lot of work to do and I use my Adrenaline and I just keep saying I can get through this I am just going to power through it.”

While discussing about making a difference in the world, the singer and actress believed, “I am able to use my platform in any way that I can to help other people knowing I have a responsibility just like you. We have responsibility to show up for people and that’s what keeps me going.”

During the interview, Taylor also questioned about what advice would she give to an 11-year-old at the exact moment in her life.

Selena said, “Don’t be so hard on yourself… I was very hard on myself and try to have little more fun.”
