Vin Diesel offers insight into his emotional reunion with Paul Walkers’ car: Watch

Vin Diesel reflects on fond memories from Paul Walker in 2001’s The Fast and The Furious movie

Vin Diesel has recently shared insight into his emotional reunion with late Paul Walker’s car in the Fast & Furious franchise.

On May 17, Vin took to Instagram and posted a video in which he showed the first car bright orange Toyota Supra that belonged to the character of his late costar, Paul in 2001’s The Fast and The Furious.

In the clip, the Riddick actor reflected on some fond memories of the iconic car once driven by Paul, who died in a car accident on November 30 2013 at age 40.

“Another incredible day of shooting,” continued the 56-year-old.

Vin stated, “For all of you that really, really know the Fast & Furious franchise, you can only imagine what this car evoked.”

“Needless to say, it holds a special place in my heart. All love, always,” he added.

Captioning the post, Vin wrote, “Blessed and grateful.”

For the unversed, Paul played Brian O’Conner in the franchise and appeared on-screen in a total of five Fast & Furious. His final movie role was in Furious 7, which was released in theatres after his death.

His iconic car reportedly sold at auction back in 2021 for $550,000, in what an auctioneer for Barrett-Jackson’s Las Vegas sale called “one of the most legendary cars in Hollywood”.

After the post, F&F fans showered their love in the comment section, with one penned, “Paul will always be so proud of you and the fast family!”

Another remarked, “A car very precious.”

“GOD bless you, Paul forever,” added a third user.
