Meghan Markle and Husband branded as ‘desperate souls’

Archie and Lilibet have been identified as Archie Sussex and Lilibet Sussex since King Charles’s Coronation

Dr. Carole Lieberman criticized the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as “desperate” following the revelation that their children’s surname has been altered to Sussex.

Instead of being referred to as Mountbatten-Windsors, Archie and Lilibet have been identified as Archie Sussex and Lilibet Sussex since King Charles’s Coronation in May 2023.

A source at the time said: “The reality behind the new site is very simple — it’s a hub for the work the Sussexes do and it reflects the fact the family have, since the King’s Coronation, the same surname for the first time.

They continued to the Times: “That’s a big deal for any family. It represents their unification and it’s a proud moment.”

Speaking to GBN America Lieberman blasted: “They are getting desperate, ever more desperate. I think Meghan thought that when they went back to the United States that she and Harry would be very popular.

“They made all these plans about charities and so on. And she thought that they’d be able to do this just by carrying over the royal titles that they have and the history that they have and not doing any work as royals.”

She added: “They are finding that in fact their popularity has gone down tremendously, so she’s desperate now to cling to anything royal.”

When asked by host Mark Dolan if the move was “pure hypocrisy”, Dr Lieberman agreed, explaining: “Her daily plan and goal is she wants to be on the face on everything every day. And Harry is sort of an appendage.

“You know what’s interesting, I’m sure you’ve noticed this, how she’s always pawing him and he doesn’t do that to her.

“It’s like she she needs him, and that’s sort of symbolic. She needs the royalty.”

Sussex.com replaced their former website, Archewell.com, promising to bring more personal updates about Harry and Meghan’s life and work.

The Prince and Princess of Wales’s children also go by their royal titles at school, and are named George, Charlotte and Louis Cambridge.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex dramatically quit their roles as senior royals in January 2020 and after a short stint in Canada, they moved to the US.

They have since done numerous interviews where they criticised the Royal Family and the Prince released a memoir titled Spare where he slammed royal life but the psychiatrist seemed to think that this could be coming to an end.
