A Slew Of Pictures Feature The Eleven And Mike Wheeler Depicters Reuniting In Atlanta To Film The Final Season Of The Hit Sci-Fi Series Alongside David Harbour And Winona Ryder.
The first look at the highly anticipated season 5 of “Stranger Things” has found its way out online. On Thursday, January 18, a slew of pictures featured cast members Millie Bobby Brown and Finn Wolfhard reuniting in Atlanta to film the final season of the hit sci-fi series.
The set photos saw Millie and Finn, who play Eleven and Mike Wheeler respectively, speaking closely to each other while filming a scene at the top of a hill on a radio station set. For the scene, the “Enola Holmes” star donned a blue zip-up and leggings which were layered over a pair of red shorts.
As for Finn, he wore a mint bomber jacket with a brown tee underneath as well as black pants. He was seen listening intently to what his on-screen love interest was saying, before they headed back inside
Also seen on the filming set were David Harbour and Winona Ryder. The Jim Hopper depicter filmed his own scene on top of the roof. At one point, he was pointing to the bottom. On the other hand, Winona’s Joyce Byers was pictured outside in a brown trench coat. She also had a tote bag draping over her shoulder.
The pictures came after Netflix announced on January 8 that the production for season 5 had officially begun. Via its official account on Instagram, the streaming giant shared the black-and-white photo of the cast posing together with the show creators Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer. In addition to Millie, Winona, Finn and David, the snap featured Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton, Brett Gelman and Maya Hawke.
New cast member Linda Hamilton was also seen joining the others. The “Terminator” star was announced to have joined season 5 cast of the hit sci-fi series back in June 2023, though details about her character are unknown. “THIS IS A CODE RED,” the caption read. “STRANGER THINGS 5 production has officially begun!!!”
